| 1482257 | 2021-11-17 04:45:00 | How to disable the Lock screen when turning ON my PC? I tried: Personalise -> Show the lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen, OFF But, it doesn't work. The Lock screen still shows, I have to hit Esc key to get on to my login screen I use a password to login to Windows |

| 1482258 | 2021-11-17 08:04:00 | Have a look at this article (winaero.com) Also take a look at WinAero Tweaker (https://winaerotweaker.com/) - which provides a simple checkbox option to disable the Lock Screen. WinAero Tweaker allows you to apply Windows 10 to UI elements to Windows 11 and also helps you disable a lot of the BS Telemetry crap used by Microsoft... USE WITH CAUTION though there is very little you can actually break... unless you have specific applications you use which rely on MS telemetry etc... I haven't had any issues with mine so far.... | 1482259 | 2021-11-17 08:28:00 | Thanks, chiefnz. The Task bar button also cannot wet to 'Never Combine' I used to open few FFox pages, when it's set to 'never combine' (in Win10) it's so easy to switch from one page to another. Is there a way to overcome this? |

| 1482265 | 2021-11-17 22:36:00 | In the 1st Reply from Cheifnz (1st Line) there's a link to various options. The Registry Works as well, theres a couple of Premade reg files under "READY-TO-USE REG FILES" Ran this on a Windows 11 home edition, bypassed the lock Screen on boot and went straight to the password box. gpedit only works on professional and above, Home editions dont have it. |

| 1482266 | 2021-11-18 11:28:00 | ** Cannot set to 'Never Combine' not wet. typo This has been disabled in Windows 11 BUT Microsoft have said that a "fix" will be coming soon to add this functionality back to the Task Bar..... you can also use the AeroTweaker Tool I suggested to restore the Windows 10 style Start Menu and Task bar layout BUT there are some additional steps you need to run and there have been reports of it not always working flawlessly.... have a look here (windowsreport.com) before you decide to use Aero Tweaker... just so you know what you're getting into... |
