1484309 2022-02-14 06:30:00 To me it's not always what you say, it's how you say it, and the intent behind it. Yeah, very hard to interpret correctly over text, but for example seeing as it's valentines day, I recall one a few years back with "of course I f***ing love you, you stupid idiot"
That could have been taken a few ways, but to me, as you slowly build up a relationship with someone (counting friendship as a relationship) you start to use expletives as a way of expressing your point, which you generally wouldn't do with a stranger, or someone you know is uncomfortable with those words.

Husband wasn't one for statements, but twice he did something nice.

Once involved flowers..........once write a card, not birthday or valentines or anything, with the nicest message on it.
