2022-03-13 21:09:00 | You can always ditch Gmail (which is probably an NSA data collecting front-end anyway) and use a decent email service like Protonmail, Tutanota, etc. | Agent_24 (57) | |
2022-03-14 00:29:00 | what are the free email services to use for printers scan to email feature ? some printer scanners only support port 25 , or smtp with no encrytion or the many printer scan to email that just wont work via 365 (there are plenty out there using gmail for scan to email) I know of SMTP2GO any others ?

2022-03-14 03:08:00 | It's not so much about GMAIL, but programms/APPs that you could previously just log in with Google so you didn't have to create a seprate account. (In my case, Facebook, youtube music, battlenet, Parium, Steam, bluestacks) means each time you log into them again you have an extra step on your phone to do (takes 5 seconds). If you stay logged into them, you don't have to repeat the process. Personally I like the additional security, as long as I don't do what I did a while ago and smash my phone screen so I couldn't log in lol

2022-03-14 06:00:00 | Think I don't care...not something that will affect me. I can see it might bother the friend though, oh well, I have his new (3rd party domain) email address now. | piroska (17583) | |
2022-03-14 18:49:00 | googles home apps/chromecast, they wouldn't really be affected would they? Because you are "activating" them while logged into Google on your phone already. | the_bogan (9949) | |
2022-03-14 21:59:00 | The only issue I've ever had with Google and Gmail was a couplie of years ago I wasn't able to suddenly not send emails from Outlook365. Gmail said it wasn't a secure app. Had to login to that Gmail account and make it less secure and that fixed it. Not ideal that that was the only way it would work. | paulw (1826) | |
