I thought that I would leave it a day or so to see if you just might change your ways and actually contribute something of substance instead of spending your time having a go - but no! The only thing you know how to do is to have a go. It is obviously too much to expect you to contribute anything of substance. The time when you appear the most is when you want to have a go. Allow me to repeat myself. As I have said, you just have nothing to contribute, you sad little man.:waughh: |

As I have said, you just have nothing to contribute, you sad little man.:waughh: I actually do contribute to discussions- the issue I have with you is that anytime you disagree with something you never bring evidence or sources to the table, flat out ignore anyone else bring evidence to the table, then say theres zero contribution being made. Youre well within your rights to say whatever you want of course but its difficult to have a constructive discussion with someone who moans about what are sometimes the most ridiculous things then flat out ignores anything that flies in the face of what you say. Id also add that many of the topics you start seem to be deliberately antagonistic towards sensitive topics but no matter- whatever floats your boat, youre entitled to your opinion. You also throw out the insults as good as you get them so whatever, I hope you enjoy your repeating rants. I dont think my original point of saying it was a repeat topic was meant as an insult and Im sorry if you see it that way- as youve been told before by another member in a different thread on the same topic: The simple and thoroughly plausible answer is, because they want to. Something like 68% when polled didn't want to change. Didn't see why they should, as it works for them. Can't argue with that logic. As for being a sad little man Im actually quite happy thanks very much- enjoying the weekend away in a beach front hotel in Akaroa. Breakfast was lovely! hash browns, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, baked beans and black pudding. |

Just before the covid thingy, we found the place toooo crowded with those things called tourists, when us Kiwis' have to move aside for them, it's a bl**dy shame Mind you it's been the same wherever we have been West Coast and Picton was probably the worst. We need tourism but not 4,000,000 mostly adults tho, wheres Winnie when we need him. lurking. |

They decided to change spelling and some terms in English to distance themselves from Ye Olde England. UK had the pounds and pence, they went with a sensible decimal currency. UK changed a lot of measurements and they kept it? |
