1484760 2022-03-10 03:17:00 Hah! As a child, my family (all 87 of us) lived so far removed from civilisation that we didn't even know that roads or brown paper had been invented!

Life was harsh, eking out a meager existence at the banks of the brackish primordial swamps, on the outer rim, in the far East of nowhere....

1484761 2022-03-10 03:26:00 OK OK OK, you win.

And there was me thinking I had a hard life. Except.......it was me on duty there with the bucket, 23.5 hours a day, making sure that that particular swamp didn't flood and drown all it's inhabitants! Only 30 minutes in my PAPER TISSUE BAG to eat and sleep and cop a good thrashing each day. Ah, but life was good in those days before Jacinda's mob got in!

1484762 2022-03-11 04:50:00 Aah, but the road was dirt and the carton was very thin, more like a brown paper bag with no top, in the rain, sometimes hail, often snow. And this was Mum and Dad and us 19 kids (no TV in those days)

Ken

At least they'd exorcised the #&@@*~ TV.

We've got a family only two clumps across the swamp that don't seem able to bury their infested idiot box. If only they could learn how to ignite the thing. Nuclear weapons aren't totally out of the question, although something slower and more painful is strongly preferred.
