But what I don't understand is why the idiot protesters are taking out their anger on the police . :horrified The police are only there to keep the peace . They have to stay neutral . They are not taking sides . Surely they should be having a go at the politicians (peacefully, of course) and just let the police do their job . :annoyed: |

With all the cameras on site there do you really believe that the behaviour you describe would not be shown on TV in graphic detail if it was carried out by than more than a single idiot or two if it happened at all? At any protest for any reason there will be people who are there just for fun, or to create problems . Your 95% versus 5% isn't close to the real split . Credible polls in recent days put the anti mandate group at about 30% and rising . I will believe the news media when they start reporting the numbers of people who ill rather than just the positive test results . Also the number of hospitalizations for Covid as apposed to those admitted for other reasons and testing positive then . Our politicians work for all of us not just the people who voted for them at the very least they should listen to all not just those that agree with them . |

His unvaxxed father is at high risk of covid complications, and now his own son might be highly likely of bringing the virus back to him . Signed . It says 129000 ish now . I couldn't visit a friend in Akld cause her son-in-law is a nutcase . He was before this, and since it began , right from when it began) his kids (one high school) have been home schooled and they go nowhere . See no-one . She - luckily - is able to work from home so she allowed to stay . . . and it's HER rental not theirs . His wife used to work as kindy teacher, not now, he was useless and did odd jobs now and then, he not working either . I think she's nuts putting up with it, but her family I guess . . . . and grandkids caught up in it . Rather annoyed me actually, she wasn't allowed to come over to mine either . . . in case . She is vaccinated, but of course they aren't . No doubt he went and joined in down there, I bet that was acceptable |

My response was there's no way in hell I'm going to ignore idiots who are insulting me, hence why I'm not going in. Of course, it was only yesterday afternoon the company decided to close the office, it's just off Molesworth Street Do you drive in from Otaki bogan? |

Had the Government engaged with them on day one it would be over by now. They have no problem getting together with the Mongrel Mob or any other group of individuals. Unless we want to live in a country where people hate each other we have to accept that we don't actually have to agree with everyone to understand other points of view and get along together. Your last three words probably are what is needed but not happening. Ken ;) |
