| 1482498 | 2021-11-28 20:11:00 | Try 2 months now. With the aliexpress orders I did last night, EXPECTED delivery dates where 13Jan & 31Jan . Some sellers 'expected' delivery dates were Feb next year !!! At least they are being honest with that . Buy from NZ if you want it this year You cant go by expected dates, they are totally wrong. Items I ordered on 29th October were Expected 24th December, yet they arrived 10th November. They get here when they arrive :) |

| 1482499 | 2021-11-28 20:22:00 | Delivery time during this pandemic is very unpredictable. I sent a small parcel to Sydney recently and it took 3 weeks to deliver. At the post shop counter, I was told it will take 7~10 days. One of my orders from Ali took < 2 weeks, and it was 'idling' at Auckland Centre for a week. Another order from Ali took slightly over 6 (six) months, LOL I filed a claim and they had fully refunded me .. |

Even one seller who has a different much faster courier service now has expected time 31Jan year (was previously 2 weeks or less). I guess couriers in China have recently become overloaded , with xmas shopping , 11/11 & black Friday spending spree's. and add the 2 weeks delay once it arrives in Ak . :) |

| 1482501 | 2021-11-29 18:35:00 | Wouldn't recommend eBay/Aliexpress... Last time I bought a USB card from there, the bracket was misaligned due to incorrect manufacturing and bad PCB design. The card had about a 7mm gap between case and bracket, screwing it in would have broken the motherboard. A lot of defective and substandard junk gets sold out of China direct online. The stuff imported through proper suppliers costs more because they aren't factory seconds... |

Some of its also WAY over prices by the time you add in everyones take along the line . Quality ? Thats why you always read the reviews on a store, some you stay away from some are fine . For example: My Lenovo Phone - Brought it around 3 years ago, the EXACT same phone was 4 times the amount here in NZ, its never missed a beat and works perfectly . | wainuitech (129) | ||

Well, sure, for name-brand things, parallel imported etc is fine. It's the generic no-name stuff on eBay that isn't always what it first appears. There are many cheap expansion cards for IDE, SATA, USB etc on eBay. None have any actual branding or company name attached. Sometimes they work, sometimes it's a disaster. A couple of cards I bought, worked fine, SATA, IDE, Serial. Others, like the USB 3.0 card that was physically incorrect and wouldn't fit in the case, and a Gigabit Ethernet PCI-E card that would completely lock the computer up if you tried to enable Gigabit mode. Worked fine at 100Mbit... Also I seem to recall the MAC address was all zeros.... It's a gamble! |

| 1482504 | 2021-11-30 20:01:00 | This might be the go www.pbtech.co.nz Good luck with getting anything from AliExpress within 30 days True. Ali is ok but yes it takes ages lately. I bought a lazy susan spice holder recently, heaps cheaper than the NZ offerings but it took 2 months. Lucky I wasn't in a hurry. |

An IT company I used to work for, the Boss(owner) would literally put faulty parts back on the shelf to be re-used/sold. Even to the extent of pulling stuff out of our rubbish bin . Even hardware removed from clients sites due to faults . One pair of RAM sticks did the rounds of several techs trying to use them for repairs/testing before we clicked onto what was happening . It was nuts . |

| 1482506 | 2021-12-02 19:13:00 | Just an update as I promised earlier on with delivery from AliExpress. Ordered the Card on 26th November -- According to its tracking its on a slow boat :D As of the 29th its only just left, eta 25th Jan. BUT some other items I ordered the day before on the 25th, According to the Tracking its just come through customs in NZ and if you take what they say about a ETA, going to take just under a month to get from Auckland to Wellington (wouldn't surprise me). 7 days from ordering to NZ 11215 So who knows. Had it happen where the tracking is all up the whop -- Says just leaving country of origin then next day arrives on the doorstep :horrified |
