| 659970 | 2008-04-18 05:07:00 | Hi Have just updated computer to Vista, and have fitted a D-LINK ADSL wirless modem and router. All works well and the modem/router has a firewall in it. Does this mean i do not have to have a third party firewall( eg norton). Any help would be great. Mike PS i'm not a computer nerd so the answer needs to be fairly easy to under stand.:) |

The big advantage of this is that you can easily spot a trojan that manages to sneak onto your system and also allow you to prevent apps from "phoning home". I use Sygate myself but Comodo seems to be gaining in popularity here so there are lots of people to give you a hand with it if necessary. |
