| 659785 | 2008-04-17 20:40:00 | Can't send email with Xtra the last two/three days, nothing changed on my system. Does anybody knows about any problem with Xtra? Otherwise it's me and the HelpDesk tonight *sigh*.:( sarel |

| 659786 | 2008-04-17 21:32:00 | Try going into your mail settings and change the SMTP settings, if its set to send.xtra.co.nz change it back to smtp.xtra.co.nz Xtra changed their setting (Again) a short while back and some peoples send.xtra stopped working. Make sure the require Authentication is unticked after doing this change as well. If that doesn't work, try deleting the account and close your mail, then open the mail recreate the account. Sometimes even though it looks like the correct setting, it gets all screwed up. |

| 659788 | 2008-04-17 22:01:00 | No it is a Telecom problem (they aren't called Xtra anymore!). Had to send an email out for a meeting last night and half didn't show up because they never got the email :( Sent it twice as well so it has been happening ALL week. |

| 659790 | 2008-04-17 23:52:00 | On their Help site, it shows all 3 variations in the email settings. Download a printout and try the lot. I was helping an Xtra victim this morning and once I corrected his settings everything was working fine. |

Otherwise it's me and the HelpDesk tonight *sigh*.:( sarel Are you sending it using a domain name email address(that isn't registered with xtra), or are using your @xtra.co.nz address? They have changed their system for domain names, and you now have to add them into yahoos webmail, to allow you to send out via xtras smtp server. Of course they haven't emailed their cutomers about this change. |
