367650 2005-06-28 07:34:00 I have SAGE from FireFox, and I am totally lost as to how I can get the RSS feed for PressF1 to open in it. All I get is a lot of code. I tried importing the whole url, part of it and pieces of it, and got a result or two that didn't work but looked promising.

What am I missing here? :groan:

RSS is kinda new to me...be kind and very patient please! :help:

367652 2005-06-28 08:17:00 There is an RSS feed for PressF1? Jeremy (1197)
367653 2005-06-28 08:25:00 I've run some programme under linux to read RSS, the result is like a tickertape read out, a kind of latest headlines like you might see displayed on a LED screen telling you when the next bus is leaving.........

I dont know if it can be done from the browser itself (yet)

I didn't know PF1 had a RSS feed, where is it hiding?

Get Opera, its easier to get the feeds. All u have to do is go to pcworld, or a site, select a rss feed and Opera will add a RSS menu for you.

Then u can go to any site which supports RSS add it then u have whatever feeds u want.

367658 2005-06-29 23:04:00 What's RSS? (idg.net.nz) Mary (6534)
367659 2005-06-30 00:52:00 The pressf1 rss feed, as viewed in aKregator, built into MEPIS

www.sal.neoburn.net

Clicking the links opens up a embedded konqueror window giving full display of the new threads/posts/whatever.

Hopefully that answers all questions, including my own :p
