| 659802 | 2008-04-18 04:31:00 | Since when were there no problem with Xtra. They were create some if there is none. I was told to terminate if I am not happy. I am now with Xnet. The only regret was that I should have switched over earlier. | Taurus (9579) | ||
| 659803 | 2008-04-18 21:40:00 | Talked this morning to them, changed a few things and voila, it works. Now just don't ask what I had to change - let's see if I can remember : - Keep the send.xtra.co.nz server - Tick requires authentication On the advanced tab: - Outgoing mail - changed from 25 to465 - Ticked both SSL boxes sarel |

| 659804 | 2008-04-18 22:24:00 | What you had by the looks of it was the old default setting. By changing to the settings they put in place when they went to that bubble crap a while back it's obviously working. NOW is the silly bit - some people have the mail settings when set to the default work fine and the new ones dont, others have the exact opposite happen. Xtra / Telecom who ever you like to call them this week have every thing in such a mess its a wonder any thing works at all. |
