Later I used to spend days or or fact weeks at Butterfly Creek and the Orongorongo Valley. Tramping in the bush was my main hobby. Had no computers, cell phones, TV. The little Pine forest just up the road from where I used to live is no more. Do you think I want to moan about this? We did have books, radio and a sense of adventure. My watch even though digital can be very roughly used as a compass during daylight and I'm inclined to use the Southern Cross at night. I carried inch to the mile maps of the area I was in and never got lost. I was only once late home from being out. No search parties were involved. The map did not show heaps of gorse. :-) My point is that the Balclutha mob want the whole area to be pristine and so far they did not win. Being as I have a few Shania Twain CDs I wanted her to win. She beats the poo out of System of a down in my opinion. Where do all these minorities come from? I note that the latest little issue seems to be over 4WD owners and let's get an extra tax. Have any of these people seen a Holden V8 hit by a Volvo of a similar year. OK. Ban 4WDs and at the same time ban everything heavier than a Goggomobile. :-) Not sure how your products will get from point A to B. Ban trucks and also trains. My little 2 door 4WD Toyota RAV4 weighs less than any Holden or Ford wagon. Sorry I drive a Japanese import. I know there is a person here who will object to that. I get people telling me what to do all the time and quite frankly I'm getting very tired of that. I normally drive at or near the speed limit. I have not yet murdered anyone. Never spent time in prison. I have exceeded the speed limit from time to time but who can say they never have?	Elephant (599)

No please don't ban twucks, you'll take the fun out of my driving....... On a more serious note, i'm glad she won. Not a lot to ask for that she might be able to have acomadation on her own land, and who cares who she is.... I think its a basic right, you buy land, you can live there....	personthingy (1670)

Personally I won't want to put an extra tax in 4WDs. I've been driving "twucks" for the last eight years. You can live there but only if you can build what you want.	Elephant (599)
