| 660599 | 2008-04-20 08:45:00 | I have a friend in Australia who is suggesting I purchase a camera for my computer so we can during phone calls view each other while talking on the phone. Does this require broadband or will dial up work as well and is if broadband is used is it heavy in using what ever the isp allows as download capacity ie 1 gb per month Thanks for the advice Ron |

If i Read your post correctly you will be talking on the phone, looking at each other Via a web cam which is a VERY expensive way to go, especially if you make a few phone calls. What you would be better off with is a high speed internet connection (Broadband) and use something like Skype / MSN messenger or one of the many other messengers available and use that for both.( talking and Viewing) The money you used in making toll calls could be put towards the monthly broadband fee. |
