| 369651 | 2005-07-05 06:51:00 | Hiya I need a small digicam. I have film and digital SLR but they are far too big for this trip. I prefer manual controls or Av and Tv modes with exposure compensation. I did a search on dpreview.com and I came with the Kodak series or the Canon A520 (this about $300NZ). Or else there is the $400NZ A95 which is 5MP vs the prior of 3MP. This A95 I dont need a mem card as I already have CF. The other I need to get a MMC/SD card. What you say? Edit, coming to think of it, I could forgo manual control and accept program mode with exposure compensation. |

| 369653 | 2005-07-06 03:37:00 | Yes, Canon are good . That's probably a good price . It would be better than my A40 . ;) See if you like the feel of the camera . I think no-one's responded before because there are so many cameras, and the choice is so individual . I feel that just about any digital camera above the toy, junk, level is pretty good . The details differ . About the only necessity is an optical zoom . The A75 will have that . The CF is an economic convenience for you . ;) |
