Give up alcohol, relaxing and radiation emitting devices such as TVs, cellphones, monitors etc. Move to the country, take up jogging, vegetarianism as well. Sell the car, grow my own veges. And guess what. I'll still die. As for emphysema and cancer it always gets blamed on smoking. News flash - other things can give you the same diseases. NZ is getting to be a bit of a police state. Can't do this, can't do that, ban this, ban that. You will be healthy or else. People tend to die from thngs like heart attacks and cancer now mainly because they aren't dying from smallpox, plague or parasites so much these days. Right on pctek... Do what you want -> You could get hit by a bus tomorrow :) |

No, I cannot 100% provide it with a warranty, but when smokers are living shorter, every docter aggrees and hospitals are filled up with smoking linked illnesses it's pretty certain that it's doing some form |

Maybe you should stop hanging around with people that smoke dogpoo then. I find that most smokers don't smell too bad, but I don't make a point of trying to smell the inside of their mouth. |

We should however learn we wont agree and drop it, getting grumpy and highhanded wont help them or us. So think peaceful thoughts, and walk away. I am in the same position i can rage against it all i like, its not going to make my dad better, i just have to live for today and be thankful he is still here. My not smoking will not help him. You cannot change someone who doesnt want to change. :stare: I am not grumpy or angry at the posters here, i see both sides, i choose not to smoke. i drink coffee instead...... :D beetle |
