Will you buy your HD today? Has your day to day business been effected in a major way? Over here we feel for the people injured or otherwise, but all we get through the media is repetitive sensationalism, and would be good to here it hasnt effected the majority. |

I've worked with Muslim people in the past, and remember a discussion recently after September 11 (2001) where I was told that suicide, let alone murder, is prohibited by Islam as a core principle, much like the Ten Commandments. Interesting how the terrorists claim to be fighting a 'jihad' for Islam, when they go against the teachings of the Koran. |

After all, after you have invented a God in your own image you are entitled to tell him (or her) what he (she) really meant. Don't expect facts in the "news". The BBC reporters wre rabbiting on about how brave and stoic the Londoners were. Survivers interviewed remarked on the hysteria and panic they saw. FOX News were "predictable". |

Just a theory. well you cant say every time there is a bombing that it's the camel jockeys, Don't get me wrong, most my family live U.k some in london, but you cant always jump the gun, George Bush almost seemed happy about this on the news because he could give terrorist speech again, although I doubt there is a week that goes bye that he doesn't... |

| 370328 | 2005-07-08 12:20:00 | Hi Rob, I am just about to step out side and catch a tube into town. I work for myself at home (the beauty of the internet and laptops) so it didn't effect me as much as the thousands that had to walk miles to get home. It was all a big shock for everyone in this house (kiwis, aussies and saffas), but for the average londoner that I have talked to they seem to have taken it all in their stride. They have witnessed terrorist attacks/threats before (IRA) and as they say "business as usual". | GarryM (8483) | ||
