The Greens aren't that mysterious......


If they have their way we will all be living off seafood and living in Eco huts, Of course people will still die left, right and centre.People will still suffer horrendsly from illness, People will still devalue with age (as in get wrinkly) And erectile issue will still remain.

The greens indeed are not a mystery,it's these hidden do gooders who know best what is good for us.A pox on them all I say. :groan:

Cancer especially has a way of developing silently for many years. By the time you are ill with it and visit the doctor, it is too late to treat. vinref (6194)

That's the bad news. The good news is that if you give up smoking before you contract the disease, within a year you're almost as unlikely to get it as someone who'd never smoked at all.

That maybe so,it should be mentioned that the tax take more than pays for all the treatment,as well as subsidising the the rest.

That may be, but cancer is in competition with every other modern lifestyle disease out there and there are very few countries that are coping with the cost of medical care. Besides, the tax take does not lessen the economic opportunity loss, the personal suffering, and the dogpoo breath.
