2005-07-15 00:14:00 | Just mildly curious as to what the average typing skills are for PressF1'ers. I'm not a touch typist by any stretch, and only use about 6 fingers. Last time I was tested I did 49 WPM (words per minute) for typing, with 99% accuracy, and I think I got around 6000 KPH (keystrokes per hour) for data entry. What's yours?

2005-07-15 01:01:00 | the other 5% (in my case) is the amount of errors. I got that speed from a typing program | Dannz (1668) | |

2005-07-15 01:48:00 | 45wom. 95% accuracy. That was in a test though. If I go faster like here usually, the accuract suffers. Teh, chnage etc.... | pctek (84) | |
2005-07-15 02:04:00 | 100 minutes per word. No accuracy.

2005-07-15 02:46:00 | I type faster than I can think therefore my typing speed is around 25 WPM. If I don't need to think then it would be up around 75-80 WPM on a good day and 55-60 WPM on a bad day.

2005-07-15 04:07:00 | I learnt touch typing 2yr ago. I am about a 65WPM, 98% accuracy. Sometimes I can hit 80WPM. You get used to it, 35-40 should be reached quite ok with some training. I don't type that often, its more knowing where the keys are and less backstrain.
