This will give a better view to the files running and also hidden on your computer. Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running ComboFix (www.bleepingcomputer.com) When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you. Please copy and paste the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new 'HijackThis' log so that we can continue to do any further cleaning that your system may require. Caution: Never run and remove files with Combofix unless supervised by a qualified security analyst who is experienced in the use of Combofix. Mal use can cause serious computer problems NOTE: Combofix prevents autorun of all CDs, floppies and USB devices to assist with malware removal & increase security. If this is an issue or makes it difficult for you - please let me know. |

| 661382 | 2008-04-30 10:17:00 | I'd like to thank you all for your help on this, pancake especially, but it seems as though she can't be bothered with ComboFix as there are too many instructions to follow and she doesn't like it how it will disconnect her internet connection while running :annoyed::confused: she didn't seem to understand any of it (grrr) and said it was wasting her time etc etc... some people just don't get it!! Instead, her cousin is coming over to download pcbugdoctor or something and said that's all she needs as it fixed someone elses msn virus... ahhhh well. I don't think I'll bother trying to help her out anymore, but again, I do thank you so much for your help, I know that I'll still be coming here often with my own problems :lol: as I know the people here are so friendly and so helpful!! Thanks again!! :D |
