| 661301 | 2008-04-22 11:14:00 | HI guys, Ive making my own music mixes onto cd using Nero. The last day or two Ive noticed a dramatic decrease in the actual burning speed. Normally it burns in at least 16x but now a meager 4x. I just did a cd of flac files and wav files, could this be the reason why? Just thought Id ask before investigating further. Cheers Rob |

| 661302 | 2008-04-22 11:23:00 | It may also depend on the speed of the blank cd /dvd Obviously if it only goes to x2, x 4 whatever, it wont burn at 16x |

| 661305 | 2008-04-22 11:39:00 | Not sure about file type, maybe any differences in speed, due to file type, may have been evident in the buffer level during the burning process. I have found slow ups if the DMA mode for file transfers during burning or ripping process has been deactivated. Had to do a registry change once, as explained here (www.dvdplusvideo.com)... | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||

| 661307 | 2008-04-22 21:35:00 | Also file size matters...hehe, doesnt it always?. Large file will burn quickly and transfer quickly, small ones take longer! | SolMiester (139) | ||
