[edit: since when did posting links to pirated software become OK? Partition Magic, Nortons Ghost, Drive Image etc are all commercial products, they are not FREE - you have just received a 24 hr ban for this. Please do not do it again - Jen (Moderator) ]

373316 2005-07-19 06:13:00 For boot disk tools (boot cd) try BartPE. Not containing any one elses stuff but allows you to add in whatever extra tools you want, and own of course. pctek (84)
373317 2005-07-19 06:37:00 Am I right in assuming this post was about a bootdisk called WblahblahPE?
Had that for a while, very good :)

373318 2005-07-19 06:58:00 In an open source world, you can copy, modify, give away, sell, promote and post links for open source software all you like and then some, and Jen won't ban you...

People won't treat you like a thief either.

373319 2005-07-19 07:06:00 Am I right in assuming this post was about a bootdisk called WblahblahPE? No it wasn't. It was a bootable CD with tools on it that are commercial, even in the DOS form. You can only create and use the DOS version if you own the full legal version.

There are plently of full legal free rescue tools (some Linux based), that website given in this thread was not one of them.
