662388 2008-04-27 14:21:00 Hi thanks, i'm not sure how this patch got there, can i just remove it by searching for the file using search & manualy remove it that way or will there be other parts left hidden somewhere that i need to remove differently & if so how do i get rid of it? davidj2k8 (13665)

Hmm it looks like it is a SIS AMD mobo David.

And it looks like HTpatch is usually used for HT (hyperthreading CPU's).

Which P4 CPU's use. AFAIK, AMD cpu's dont support HT

Thats what the HT in HTpatch means

So, I cant see why you'll need it, if you've got an AMD CPU.
