| 662390 | 2008-04-28 20:03:00 | i'm not sure how this patch has got there, is it safe for me to remove it so this error dont crop up again & if so can i just delete it by finding it in search files & folders & manualy delete the file that appears, or will there be other bits hidden away i'll need to get rid of & if so, how do i go about doing this? Thanks, David Hmm it looks like it is a SIS AMD mobo David. And it looks like HTpatch is usually used for HT (hyperthreading CPU's). Which P4 CPU's use. AFAIK, AMD cpu's dont support HT Thats what the HT in HTpatch means So, I cant see why you'll need it, if you've got an AMD CPU. |
