| 373463 | 2005-07-19 23:59:00 | Hmmm........My bike does well over 200km/h, I would have no problem flinging a cd-drive at a roadside fence while doing so, granted it may take a few goes before hitting a post big enough to shatter the drive but it can certainly be done. Personally I would just crank it up to cruising speed and roll her down the road, hitting asphelt at 200 to 250km an hour should do it nicley. Though in this day and day every thing has to be extreme, strap it on the front of the bike and ride the bike into the post at 200km/h....While on fire and naked apart from some womens underwear and an American Indian headdress. |

| 373464 | 2005-07-20 00:38:00 | I have a DVD writer that does not work . Some of you may have read my post in the other room about it . I want it to die a horrible and painful death so I can get at least some joy out of having bought it . I want to kill it off and take a movie so I can enjoy it's death many times over . I need some suggestions of how to kill it . So far I have decided to get a mate to hurl it from his bike into a fence post at top speed while I record the video . (this will all take place on private land, and all remains will be properly disposed of) . Can anyone beat this? By the way I have already used a shotgun, a . 22, and fire to kill off other useless pieces of crap that stop working for me, so I don't need suggestions down these lines . . . And so, you've tried 3 or four different kinds of media, and that media is on the list of approved discs and manufacturers for this drive? You have the correct ASPI ( . cd-rw . org/articles/archive/aspisetup . cfm" target="_blank">www . cd-rw . org) installed for the OS and burning software? Does it burn CD's? What burning software are you using, did it come with the drive, is it approved for the drive, doe it install the correct ASPI layer? Exactly what do the error logs say? you're a bit vague on the subject in your other thread . Calabration errors, for eg, often mean bad or incompatible media . As BT has said, maybe there is someone out there who wouldn't mind fidling with it, just to get their hands on a CD/DVD recorder . |

You're showing serious signs of going stir-crazy. Maybe that ginormous screen is stretching the limits of your consciousness just a little too wiiiiiiide. Either that, or your inner-woman is harbouring a strange desire to become one of the Village People. Check in at your nearest YMCA. Cheers Billy 8-{) :D |
