DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA

in my event viewer i have had 2187 events, mostly errors, here are the differnt types of errors that i have had:

i have tried the graphics card and ram in different slots, i have replaced the ram, i have updated my bios to the latest, i have installed all the latest graphics card drivers. still there is no difference

also in dxdiag it doesnt seem to recognise my processor properly, it says:
AMD Processor Model unknown, MMX, 3DNOW (2CPUs) 3.2Ghz

The system i am running is:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6400+ Black Edition 3.20GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail

663636 2008-04-28 17:08:00 first set a static IP address different to 192.168.0.2 and enter your adsl router ip address for the gateway and DNS server on your net card, that'll get rid of the DHCP and TCP/IP error

next, think about getting a new D drive. you got a bad block which will probably lead to the whole disk going ka-poof with all your stuff (depending on how old your d drive/partition is )

is this a home built or premade/brandname computer?

as for the rest your on your own or until someone else helps you

663640 2008-04-28 22:58:00 WHAT version of Windows is it??

What did you install after Windows?

Did you install the chipset / mobo drivers. sound/lan drivers, then everything else?

WHERE are you, if you're in NZ?

This error:

Sidebyside
Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.CRT could not be found and Last Error was The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.

Maybe referring to the .Net framework files, did you install these?

The .Net Framework files are required

And need to be installed BEFORE you install the ATI drivers (If you use ATI drivers), for your videocard

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3850 Pro 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail

And I take it, you installed the NIC / LAN drivers?

Are there other computers connected to this, on a network??

It sounds like your computer, and another on the network, have the same ip address (Theyre conflicting): Thats what the error below means I think.

Tcpip
The system detected an address conflict for IP address 192.168.0.2 with the system having network hardware address 00:16:44:78F5. Network operations on this system may be disrupted as a result.

Are you on dialup or broadband??

663641 2008-04-29 09:37:00 im running windows xp pro, i dont live in new zealand, i live in the uk. i dont think the tcpip is my main problem as im not having internet problmes. after i installed windows i installed the mobo and ati drivers. i tried to install the net framware but it said i already had it. PkBen (13678)
663642 2008-04-29 09:40:00 And are there other computers connected to you??

Since 2 ips are conflicting.

Or is there only 1 computer there?

663643 2008-04-29 13:35:00 i live in a student house so there is 5 computers connecting to the modem, but the ip conflict isnt a big issue as i dont think that causes my pc to bluescreen PkBen (13678)
663644 2008-04-29 20:25:00 Look in add/remove programs, does ATI display driver, ATI Uninstall utility, and ATI CCC appear here?

WHERE did u get the video drivers from?

The ATI site / somewhere elese / The Windowsupdate site?

I would reformat, do a clean install

Install XP / slipstream it with SP3. Install the chipset drivers / LAN / soundcard drivers.

Download .Net framework 1.1/2.0 and updates for them. Then install the ATI drivers. Then everything else
