663482	2008-04-28 11:08:00	Hi there Graham L. I seem to remember that you are a pascal (Delphi) man from way back. Have you tried Free Pascal and Lazarus. I haven't done anything too serious with it yet but am very impressed so far. It is available for several OS's and can be targeted for whichever one you want, so one lot of code can target several OS's.	mikebartnz (21)
663483	2008-04-29 04:54:00	I never got my head around Delphi . My Pascal programming still tends to start with "program . . . " and end with "end . " after code I have written . ;) I've got v7 of Turbo Pascal and I reckon it will see me out . I've even weakened to the extent of using a bit of C lately, but that's because the only (free) Pascal compiler for Microchip PIC microcontrollers (written in Delphi!) isn't "finished" yet . But I'll have a look at Free Pascal if I get a chance .	Graham L (2)
