| 663108 | 2008-04-27 13:49:00 | You know when you set up a Gmail account you have an option to setup a second address for purposes of getting a new password if you forget your old one. How to do this? Thx. |

| 663109 | 2008-04-27 14:42:00 | Changing your alternate email address You don't have to provide an alternate email address, but we strongly encourage you to. Once you've started using Gmail, we'll use your alternate email address to communicate with you under the following circumstances: * We need to confirm your username after you create an address * You can't log in to Gmail * You've forgotten your password * You're about to run out of storage space * We need to alert you to any unusual activity involving your address Here's how to change your alternate email address: 1. Log in to Gmail. 2. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page. 3. Open the Accounts tab. 4. Click Google Account settings. 5. Select Change security question along the left side of the page. 6. Enter or change the email address in the Secondary email field, and select Save. 7. Close the Google Account window using your browser's Close button if you don't want to sign out of Gmail just yet. |
