376126 2005-07-27 09:47:00 I seek a professional List of advertising rates for My Business Digital Builder.

ideally they would for various medias such as post, radio, internet, paper, magazines and so forth

I am willing to pay $50-$100 for Advertising Rates with quantifications to various medias and optional to professional standards in this field.

It would require though that it be provided in sample form to asses for quality first.

i feel someone should offer a service in this area to Provide Information knowledge in New Zealand like this.

Some knowledge is available from homebizbuzz or similar but in truth you get what for and if its of a more advanced nature it is likely to cost in economic sense. The economics may also say if it is of value then maybe sale value.

I now have a job with another firm, I hope to use it to grow my own business and myself.

it should also have Quantifications for:
Price bracket e.g. 0-50, 50-200, 200-500, 500-1000, 1000+
Cost Per Thousand
Delay times for advert
Conversions ratios expected from medium on average to sale
Strenghts or weaknesses of the viewers to variates of conversions

376132 2005-07-27 11:43:00 Creighton, you need to be a teenie bit more succinct with what you are trying to achieve.

I think you really need to talk to a marketing person, this is what they do. For eg:

What type of advertising are you wishing to do, what's the purpose of the advertising, branding, general product, specific/special purpose?

It's no use pumping specialised niche business software on 2ZB, the NBR, business pages in dailys or trade rags is the place to be.

Do you have any idea of an advertising schedule and how the product or brand is going to compete and with whom? Branding, punt product, reminder branding, maintain visibility (the first part is the expensive bit, but that's down the drain if you don't follow up with the latter). What sort of medium will have the greatest impact for your $$, what sort of format (run ons, text/advertorial, spot colour, full colour, line art, graphic)?

Get youself a marketing person, discuss the business/product and discuss cost (you'll turn green).

376133 2005-07-27 12:54:00 Go to MoreFM and ask how much for 10x 30-second Ads and post back.

All respect due, $100 wont get you too far....

376134 2005-07-27 13:28:00 My ad-man laughed at me when I rejected his package and tabled my own, He reckoned if he was going to be listening to silly talk he should be sitting in a courtyard sipping a coffee....

(thats not quite what he said but the look on his face was funny, he's a good guy.....cant keep a computer running or his data safe but I try and not hold that against him)

Edit

(and he's a Pom........)
