| 374905 | 2006-11-26 23:16:00 | thanks for the security code advice - it worked . so i've been trialling a few things . I had an unsent message in my outbox when it wasn't alerting me of messages . Have deleted it (and tried to keep my outbox size small) and have had no problems since . But I can't assume that that was the problem . As far as random beeps are concerned, i think its to do with the Menu>Messaging>Settings>Reminder . I've had random beeps with it on but none when its off . (this could be to do with unsent messages in the outbox too) Have a nice day everyone |

| 374906 | 2006-11-27 01:13:00 | Take it back to the shop . One thing I'm learning to hate about this phone is the camera button on the side . It seems to take photos in my pocket, even when the key guard is on . GRRR! lol i get the same problem, and my speakers distort at high volume, and i cant change the text alert sound - it'll remember the setting but still just beeps . . . vibrator is sounding pretty sick -hardly what i'd call silent and it will beep when it doesnt have a message then again i've had it nearly two years now . . . it takes the abuse and the camera is pretty good, alarm is 'effective', but overall the phone definetly isn't perfect . i heard motorolla were the better phones? i'm thinking of upgrading soon - any suggestions? and as for batteries: a common myth is that batteries will develop 'memories' if not fully discharged before charging . this is true for the older, cheaper nickel cadmium batteries, but not true for the newer, more expensive lithium ion batteries which these phones come standard with . |
