| 663051 | 2008-04-28 04:18:00 | Another soul saved from IE. The amount of HTML/CSS hacking jobs I have to do for IE is insane. No other browser requires it. | trinsic (6945) | ||

Just for curiosity sake :) IE was V6.02, and before anybody scoffs, it has been rock solid and reliable for many years. This is the first problem I've had and I suspect it was not an IE problem per se, but a Google backward-compatibility issue. The print server runs IE5.5 and I acknowledge that this is a bit long in the tooth, but I don't use it very often at all. FF is 2.0.0.11, and the son is having a bit of trouble adjusting at present, keeps calling me and saying this don't work or that don't work. I just tell him to do the electronic equivalent of RTFM! I've found FF to be a fairly intuitive browser to use! The latest version of FF2 is 2.0.0.14 -- go to the Help menu and do a manual check for updates to upgrade it. :) |
