376455 2005-07-29 06:14:00 And apparently they're following suit with the linux/unix privelaging schematics, although apparently its not nearly as good and can be a real pain in the @$$ Chilling_Silence (9)
376456 2005-07-29 06:27:00 And I hear IE7 won't allow Google or Yahoo toolbars to install. And it's hard to use the search function to search with anything else other than MSNSearch...

Microsoft and them old tricks...

376457 2005-07-29 06:53:00 Not that I use any of those toolbars, Firefox has Google searching built-in! What could be better?! Chilling_Silence (9)
376458 2005-07-29 07:41:00 Hi guys,

I am using IE7 Beta1 and it seems iit's ok if you have already installed the Google toolbar before installing IE7. Also there is a dropdown box with all the search engines in there. IE7 seems to work ok so far.

Cheers

376461 2005-08-01 04:46:00 Not too sure about using the Vista beta - a 2Gb download is a bit of a pain! but have been using the IE7 beta with the Google toolbar add-on and have had no problems what-so-ever! In fact I quite like it & I believe that it is a better product than Firefox. Is there an Outlook Express 7 beta yet?? fnphoto (2434)
