377324 2005-08-01 08:33:00 Is it just me? I can't seem to access Sal's ImageF1 image upload website (sal.neoburn.net) at all. Firefox keeps on saying "http://sal.neoburn.net couldn't be accessed". All cookies and cache have been cleared.

Cheers :)

377326 2005-08-01 09:37:00 I just PM'd Sal alerting him of this thread.

Kinda figure Sal would know best.

377327 2005-08-01 11:20:00 The webserver that hosts ImageF1 is free, and they don't guarantee 100% uptime. They seem pretty good and it doesn't normally stay offline for that long. :) Jen (38)

Yes. And I might add that people here just use Sal's site without a by you leave.
What would happen if I upload some files from my camera at about 3-4 Megs per image?

377330 2005-08-01 11:38:00 What would happen if I upload some files from my camera at about 3-4 Megs per image?Considering sal has configured the uploading program to reject files over 400KB's, I guess not much will happen. It is a great service for PressF1 have that image hosting available, and sal has done a great job with the ease of use and web design. :)

I didn't realise it has been down for several days, maybe they are doing some maintenance work on the server.

OK. Thanks Jen. I agree it's a good service.
Just some people here say upload images and if I want to do this I would be inclined to use my own web host.

Two other alternatives for free pic hosting. I use Photobucket, you can create albums, select what pics you want, and generate img, thumbnail, and direct urls

Yes but!!!! I can not load an image over 1 meg on a paid account which costs $25 per year on photobucket. The free account comes with ads etc and the image size is less than ImageF1.

I did not check imageshack.
