I have been asked what it means if there's nothing there...what is this anyway?

Did I miss something in Windows 1-A class? :confused:

377138 2005-08-01 02:49:00 If you're in Windows Explorer. Click the View menu, then click the option for Details.

Look at what is different from the other different View options.

377139 2005-08-01 04:44:00 If there is "nothing there" but the file name, right click on the word "name" in the top of the first column and a menu of all the other "detail" fields that can be displayed will appear.

They can all be suppressed except the name field.
