contains specs, bios update, manual and even a section on jumpers.

And no, I cant see anyone emailing you, if someone takes the time to help the very least you can do is look in the thread you started rather then wait for an email, is that the height of lazyness?

376856 2005-07-31 03:07:00 Jetway 530BF Socket 7 (www.jetway.com.tw) Motherboard specs, BIOS, drivers and manual downlaods.

This is a micro AT format board, I presume you have the right kind of power suppy and case (switches are diff from ATX standard).

I had a 531CF (ATX) board, which uses the same SIS 530 / 5595 chipset, that In ran a K6 111 550 on. Nothing but trouble, the chipset is crap. It may be better running a CPU that isn't at the very top of the boards capabilities, but my problems were more memoray and driver issues, IIRC.

What OS are you planning to run on it? If win 95, you'll have to apply the AMD chipset fix for CPU's above 350MHz. To do that, you'll have to under-clock it, apply the patch, then reset to the correct FSB clock speed. Sorry, I can't remember all the details, it was some years ago.

376857 2005-07-31 03:40:00 Jetway had to be one of the worst boards I have had the misfortune to come across.
Its probably number 1 on my top 3 hated boards list.

376858 2005-09-14 06:53:00 i would have to agree with that last comment, i have this exact same peice of #$#! that a friend gave me to fix.. havent been able to get sound to work using jetways drivers, so installed an old pci sound card but the irq is same as onboard graphics causing flicker when there is sound and buggered if i know how to change the irq

on the other hand and in jetways favour they have produced one of best SLI (and cheap) motherboards on the market according to this review..

cant find them for sale in NZ i guess because jetway has a rep for sucking bad

376859 2005-09-14 10:40:00 Change IRQ #? What OS?

Try, open up Control Panel > Device Manager > Sound Card >Properties > Resources tab. Have a fiddle in there with IRQ settings, hopefully you can find a spare IRQ or share with a less fussy device.
