Sure, white text on a black background looks dramatic, but realistically it's hard work for some to read. If you stick with that colour scheme, best enlarge your text size on the home page. It's better on the Carters-site.net page, but I found myself wondering why I'd want to login - not having worked out what the website was actually FOR... If you don't grab viewer interest at the start, your links won't even get tested. (Sure, I'm not the age group you're aiming at - but I doubt that every kid has 20/20 vision. And there are plenty of easy-to-read websites out there...) And did you mean layed back/laidback or maybe it's somethng to read in a layby? Gotta define what the readers want if you want readers. |
