These young people can purchase a turbo charged 2Litre car capable of over 240kph for a couple of grand, which handle like a brick. Trevor :)I'd like to think the afore mentioned post was sarcasm. Perhaps we wish to ban the import of all technology on account of its potentual for misuse, and all starve to death? Yes cars are cheap.. yeeehar! That means people can usually afford to go to work, provide essentual services, feed thier kids, that sort of thing. A cheap import can and usually is used for a lot more than hooning up and down the local illegal racetrack. |

And most boy racer cars handle like bricks because they have dodgy suspension. Even if you were to somehow stop japanese imports or whatever fast cars you would still have hoons, they just wouldnt be able to accelerate as fast. | Jimmy D (2061) | ||

No cheap imports, and the cost of NZ new cars would skyrocket. This is not a personal attack at any one individual, but some of the "bright ideas" suggested in this thread are totally ****ed!
