Good thing really, didn't want to compromise myself and stultify my ability to comment on certain matters.

Anyway, I'm sure you'd be able to find a way around any inconvenient curly bits that might arise in those circumstances Cic ;)

377730 2005-08-05 06:12:00 Hmm, why don't we PressF1 start a new ISP company termed "PF1 ISP" offering unlimited broadband Internet usage for a reasonable figure?

Cheers :)

377732 2005-08-05 07:39:00 The government had a chance to open up the telecommunications industry last year.

They decided against it.

Indeed, won't sell my shares in Telecom as yet,but as the momentum gathers to remove the stranglehold I will keep an eye on share movement.

377736 2005-08-05 11:35:00 Unfortunately most of my net problems have involved some form of intervention from Telecom.
I cannot send large attachments (read: bigger than 200K) from my xtra account using dialup, and the other day they couldn't even find their own e-mail servers. Fortunately, xtra was the boss's choice, not mine and I chose to use Woosh for personal internet.

I now pay Woosh $40 a month for net, which 95% of the time is reliable and removed my need for a phone or ADSL line. After all, I have a cellphone and can be texted when I need to be. It's faster, and cheaper than my next option, which was a phone line and my old dialup plan on Telstra.

Woosh have had their problems, but I think that they're starting to get on top of them now. The performance now compared to 6 months ago tells me that.
