663967 2008-05-01 08:33:00 Those tool bars can cause all sorts of problems. If i Were you i'd be taking out all the "extras" and get IE working first, just in case its one of the extras causing the problem.

Sometimes IE also gets damaged or not installed correctly.

have a look at This Microsoft site (support.microsoft.com) - it gives several suggestions on how to repair /reinstall IE.

You can disable the add ons and see if that makes any difference.

If you cant open IE with out it crashing click start - go to Control Panel - Internet Options.
Click the "Advanced" tab.
Scroll down underneath "Browsing" until you find the check box "Enable third-party browser extensions".
Uncheck this box and press "OK" to close the dialog box.

If you can open IE even for a short time, click tools - Manage Add ons - anything that is Enabled, Disable it and try IE.

If either of the above works, then re enable 1 at a time to see whats causing it to crash.
