And there is a bit more than "transfer/copy from box 3A, Add to 5" Depreciation, profit and loss, asset register and the lovely ACC calculations. If you get the correct forms depending on your income from the IRD and you actually read the questions then you can do it yourself. Keep all receipts for outgoings. Keep all payslips or incoming. Keep all tax paid receipts. Add or subtract these and put them in the correct BOX. Once again. If you do not comprehend the questions on a form you are likely to make a mistake. The IRD does not use leet speak I do my own tax. Back to using and comprehending NZ English as she is spoke. I'm faily sure that some people here can fill in a form for some sort of benefit though. Not suggesting that anyone here is actually on a benefit. |

Even in this thread alone, there's bound to be someone. It's sad how many New Zealands seem to perfer to rely on a benefit rather than doing work for themselves. | techie (7177) | ||

Sorry but I have no idea how many people in this forum rely on Helen Clark or the current Government for Income. The Government may or may not change come 11th Sept 2005. It will depend on who votes for whom. I just turned 63 years old and this week I am chucking Bobby Calves onto a Farmers Transport Truck. Some of the 20-40 year old people can't do this. 11$ per hour. Making money building computers on the side and all TAX declared. |

What about using Quick Cash Book program and it's free. I used to charge $50 to do small optician's business returns on spreadsheets etc. no GST as under $25,000 TO. Don't ask me to do it though, I am now giving my spare time back to the community. Lurking. |
