And a silly question perhaps - But if one is using one's laptop mostly connected to the mains, would it prolong the battery life by taking it out of the laptop altogether? Does the computer clock have a small separate battery, bye the way, or does it run from the main battery, and would the clock stop if one took the main battery out? At present my computer charges up the battery to 100% every time I turn it on even though I am not using it, and this must cause a deterioration of battery life. |

Most rechargeable batteries can lose between 1% - 5% of their charge daily but Li-ion should retain their charge for months. Me thinks this probably indicates you have got an inferior battery with your lappie, else something was running on your computer. BURNZEE BEST WAY TO A FISHERMAN'S HEART IS THROUGH HIS FLY!! |
