379536 2005-08-09 04:01:00 The NYTimes (free reg. rqd, worth the effort) reports (www.nytimes.com) that after CNet published a story about Google's CEO using information gleaned from Google searches, Google cracked a hissy-fit and banned it from Google press statements until 2006.

Not that the search engine is a bad thing in itself, but Google seemed to have developed a bit of an attitude.

There's no law against them not talking to journalists. Common sense would indicate they're just buying a whole load of bad PR though ....
