379265 2005-08-08 01:30:00 I found these two "trusted zones", see screen shot here (photobucket.com)

Are they OK? I cannot recall adding them to the Trusted Zone, but maybe I did.

379266 2005-08-08 01:36:00 The first one looks like a NIC, on your local network.

The 2nd one looks like its for the broadband? If u have a static ip.
On a network.

Looks safe to me. Depending on whether that 2nd ip address is yours all the time.

379267 2005-08-08 01:49:00 seems obvious to me you are on broadband ? drcspy (146)
379268 2005-08-08 02:20:00 No, not on broadband .

Can the IP address be checked somehow?

379269 2005-08-08 03:05:00 The packet scheduler is an XP bandwith throttling "device" or service.

The other one is your interface to the internet - the address is from a Telstra-Clear block of addresses for dial-up clients (?).

Both work through the one network card, so they are represented as networks.

P.S. Is that your Impala Steve?

And is Global Computers now owned by Supercheap? I have un-fond memories of Global Computers (the one just off K-Road).

Its a Paradise / Telstraclear ip address .

Might be their DNS server, if u have one in the dialup .

Hiya Vin. Thanks for the info. Interesting. Yep, it is Paradise.

No no, not my Impala. Guess you did not read my explanation on another thread - I was following him at 125-130 kph in the middle of the N Island... trying to get a decent pic without driving off the road or getting a speeding ticket!!

Yep - up by K Rd, on Pitt Street. Looks like Global owns Supercheap, I guess. A number of PF1ers have had bad service there.
