665341 2008-05-03 11:57:00 I'd be more inclined to figure out precisely WHY your international web-traffic is bad. Reminds me of a couple of my workmates changing ISPs every 2-3 months coz they thought each was bad... I told them right from the start it wasnt the ISP's fault!

I'm very close to my local exchange, as are a couple of friends (Same exchange). When one of us is having a "bad night", all of us find we are... all of us are on different ISPs (One Xtra, one Ihug, one Orcon and one Xnet).

665343 2008-05-04 09:49:00 Snap's alright actually... unless you're on their Night Owl plan, then they reserve every right to shape it as much as they like.

Here are some nice speedtests taken now:

Where does it say this? AFAIK, Snap Night Owl is full speed between 7pm and 7am with no mention of a fair use policy. Snap broadband plans » (www.snap.net.nz)

665345 2008-05-04 11:54:00 snap's night owl does not have a fair use policy, hence the reason its throttled to 128k from 7am to 7pm Term_X (560)
