| 379948 | 2005-08-10 23:12:00 | Cic, are you double dating Act, adultry even? Qyiet = Peter. Which one? or I could just naff off. Nice wee article there Manicminer. I am convinced Brash would do the right things, but he largely has a heap of nothing politicians to work with(with the odd exception). ACT is more me,but seems we are addicted to the nanny state syndrome,as a consequence are being ignored. Oh the pain of having to bear the worlds inability to see the light. ;) |

No pleading or nationalisation here thankyou. :D |

It's no use twisting and turning, Rogernomics introduced free market forces, and now the penalty is being paid. Quote from the pdf below: "Right of access to an essential facility controlled by a monopolist has long been a controversial subject under U.S. antitrust law. If the facility is truly essential, a denial of access means the monopolist will be immune, at least for some time, to most instances of competition. On the other hand, a policy that defines access generously encounters the rather ideological complaint that it represents a government taking of private property, and the more practical concern that it will be likely to reduce incentives to innovate." | 379954 | 2005-08-11 04:33:00 | And just to bolster you up Terry - The people's flag is deepest red, It shrouded oft our martyr'd dead And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold, Their hearts' blood dyed its ev'ry fold. Then raise the scarlet standard high, Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here. etc |
