664911 2008-05-02 04:00:00 I think they all use the same kind of power connector. (20 pin ATX)

Its the pins, on the CPU, that are different (P3 - Slot 1, Socket 370), P4 (478 / 479 pin), and P5 If this is 775 (775 pin, and maybe 771)

Altho the higher-end motherboards, may use 24 pin

664912 2008-05-02 04:31:00 no I think they are referring to AT powersupply leads..........

they of course had molex leads but also power outlet plugs labelled P3-P4 etc.......ah from memory cause I'm too lazy to goto my stack of parts to check.....a couple joined together to make the main motherboard connection....and there was always a spare P4 or similar.........cant remember whta they did..........
