664653 2008-05-01 03:46:00 Hi all

Using IE6 at the moment (trying to solve an IE6 CSS issue) and the lack of tabbed browsing is driving me nuts, I keep ending up with a dozen or so open windows

I remember before my 2K system dies there was an add-on for IE6 that gave it tabbed browsing ability, however i can't remember what the add-on was

So far i have come across FoxIE and the windows live toolbar both of which are supposed to give you tabbed browsing

Anyone tried them, I am leaning towards FoxIE, but I hadn't previously heard of it, so not 100% sure

I'm not interested in the maxathon, madbrowser? shells etc as from memory they had issues with the IE developer toolbar

Edit
-------------
Ok ignore this apparently my preferred choice FoxIE has malware in it, so windows live it is

664654 2008-05-01 03:53:00 This ? (http://ie7pro.com/)

It works with IE 6 and 7. Altho, I cant tell if it lets IE 6 use tabs or not.

I'm using IE 7

I actually use that on my vista machine with IE7, however from what I've read it doesn't support tabbed browsing on IE6

664656 2008-05-01 04:37:00 Install IE7 and then IE7Pro - works great - has Tab Browsing (www.imagef1.net.nz), and one feature I really find Useful, is the Start / Home page - not a simple web Site but any favorites you want to add, that way you can go to what ever site suits Mines set to 4X4, or if you want more you can go 6x4 (www.imagef1.net.nz) I think FF Does this as well (www.imagef1.net.nz) by clicking the button pointed to shows the active tabs. wainuitech (129)
664657 2008-05-01 05:09:00 Won't you lose IE 6 if you install 7? Nermal (7077)

Nope - C:\Windows\ie7\iexplore.exe IIRC

664660 2008-05-01 09:49:00 Try Maxthon, it has tabs and uses the IE engine. decibel (11645)
