379127 2005-08-07 03:05:00 Who said this in a speech:-

"We will maintain and defend the foundation on which the power of our nation rests. We will offer protection to Christianity as the very basis of our collective morality. We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit. We want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess down the past few years."

The Christians have always tried to label Hitler as an atheist which was patently never true.

379136 2005-08-08 22:33:00 So, the point is that all Christians are evil Hitler-like meglomaniacs? :groan:

There are cynical dishonest people in the world . They will attach themselves to whatever cause seems the most popular in order to advance themselves .

That doesn't invalidate the religion, principle, or group which finds itself being used .
