665665 2008-05-04 02:07:00 We have a DOS point of sale program "Checkout 95" which originally ran on two "Commodore PC1" computers with 10meg hard drives & 5¼ Floppys!

Both computers were 'upgraded' to 386's years ago and are still being used 24x7.
Last week a hard drive packed a sad so we got another from the flee market OK.
Recovering the program was easy as we copied from the slave. Problem is that the Autoexec.bat in the Master is missing (the slave is different) All is working but a few problems with networking.

The "Checkout" program was created in New Zealand for Pharmacy's, but is adaptable to other types of business. The original suppliers have moved on & no longer know anything about Dos.

If anyone has any old disks, hard drives etc which have this program please help with a copy of the Autoexec.BAT and 1.BAT. There must be some in the back room of a Chemist somewhere.
