380560 2005-08-12 08:36:00 I'm looking at the pathetic state of scifi on TV here and appart from the four or so hours of repeats on SKY the only alternative is DVDs.
I know TV1 over in Australia is looking to bring SCIFI Channel there. SKY TV are suppose to be showing more channels on their service at the start of the year (but no idea if scifi will be one).
Am I the only one who HOPES for the scifi channel here in New Zealand?????

I got a SCIFI TV Encyclopedia for x-mas a few years back. It lists over 1500 shows from the 1960s-1990. There is plenty of scifi out there.
But look at the SCIFI Channel in the States.
On Friday, from 6pm they show Firefly, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galatica. (damn, I wish I could watch).
Oh well, internet downloads will have to do for the meantime.(cough "Global Frequency" cough)

380566 2005-08-12 09:29:00 Or the Outer Limits (B/W and the 1990 version). DRHILL (3490)
380567 2005-08-12 09:42:00 Hopefully they will have star trek! Dannz (1668)
380568 2005-08-12 10:28:00 Or Dead Zone, Dead Like Me, X-Files, Millenium, Sliders, Buck Rogers, Battlestar, Man from Atlantis, Quantum Leap, Earth 2, Space 1999, Lost in Space, The Tripods, Nowhere Man, Alias, and any other program I can't remember at the moment. DRHILL (3490)
380569 2005-08-12 11:09:00 I would buy Sky if it had the Sci-Fi channel and it kept up with the American screenings of episodes like Stargate & BSG.

Internet and 10GB caps just isn't cutting it anymore.
