381241 2005-08-18 06:23:00 I will definitely not be voting Labour. They've changed New Zealand into Soddom and Gomorrah.

Was that post a joke? To what exactly are you referring with that comment? Civil Unions?

381243 2005-08-18 07:09:00 The Working for Families Scheme is all arse about face. Instead of paying couples to have more and more children, families with more than one child should receive no family benefit and pay taxes on an increasing scale the more children they have, in order to discourage contributing to the worlds overpopulation.

What do people think

381246 2005-08-18 08:11:00 Excellent idea, Now where do I opt out of contributing to pensions and health care for the elderly? Metla (12)

That's the whole idea Met. Not having to pay out millions encouraging people to breed like flies, that money will go to the elderly. So you wont have to contribute a penny.

Not only that, but eventually there wont be many elderly to have to look after anyway, so everyone will benefit all round :)

381249 2005-08-18 09:44:00 C'mon peeps, lighten up. I refuse to believe you don't want to to support schools because you haven't got any kids or you don't want to support the public health system because you're not in hospital or you don't want to support conservation efforts because you mow your own backyard.

Civilisation is about community. I haven't got any kids but I support my local school because it's a pleasure to me to see those kids bouncing around on their gala days and fundraisers. Same with the local hospital. I don't belive you're so isolated and unhappy that what happens to your friends and family and neighbours doesn't matter to you.

Don't you participate here at PressF1 because you get a kick out of helping people? Isn't that a knowledge subsidy? Struth. We're humans. We live together. That's what makes life a joy...........................m :)
