| 665518 | 2008-05-04 03:27:00 | So memphis if i understand correctly, using a fan controller will allow me to install more fans? ie, plug fans directly into the controller with no need to plug into mb? Also, it will allow you to adjust fan speeds for 3 pin fans? Yes a fan controller will allow you to install more fans,you just get the 3 pin wire and plug it into one of the attachments on the fan controller so you can control the fans speed from the front of your computer case in either a 3.5" bay or a 5.25" bay depending on the size of the fan controller you buy of course.The fan controller is powered by one molex plug from the psu.Like I said in my other post I have one and its great works easy as.I have my fans turned on each control knob at the half way setting on my fan controller.Just check out that what ever fan controller you buy has enough attachments for the amount of fans you want to attach to it. :):thumbs: |
